DHD (N) leader shot dead

Guwahati, January 9: A top DHD(N) leader Rajesh idong alias Mais was on Friday killed by three unidentified gunmen at his residence at Doyangmukh in Dima Haso district. He was one of the sigtories of the MoU signed by the disbanded outfit with the government. Condemning the incident, DHD(N) chief Dilip Nunisa said he has already informed joint secretary (NE) in the union home ministry Shambhu Singh. An assassition bid was also made on Rajesh in October last.
