People suffer due to strike by bank employees

MANGALDAI, May 31: The functioning of all the banks in Darrang district was stalled for the second day following the All India bank strike. Employees and officials of all the branches of State Bank of India, Central Bank of India, UCO Bank, AGVB and all other banks were seen resorting to picketing in front of the respective banks. On the other hand, following the two-day long strike by the employees of the banks, the common people had to suffer a lot as all the ATMs were empty.
