New Delhi: Recently, Rajnish Kumar, Chairman-SBI, made a detailed presentation about the positive effects of merger while citing its own experience of associating with 5 banks through merger. It also talked about the initial bottlenecks, including the dubiety about the stock, workforce issues, etc., but how everything smoothened later. Merger talks are spurred out of the situation of public lenders’ weak finances, as they are drowning in debts.
