Itanagar, July 29: The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has lauded Capital Police led by Superintendent of Police Hibu Tamang for their dedication to solve the April 15 Arunachal Times attack case.

The APCC to appealed all sections of society to cooperate with police so that the mastermind who is absconding at present is arrested at the earliest. It further appealed to the police to apprehend the mastermind at any cost.

The party hoped that police will soon crack the case of attack on Tongam Rina, Associate Editor of the daily.

It requested NGOs, intellectuals and individuals to come forward to fight against such criminals whose main motive is to create fear psychosis amongst the common citizens of the Capital Complex.

It urged  the administration and judiciary not to give leniency to such culprits and  said that exemplary punishment should be given to them so that no one dares to repeat the dastardly act of vandalism or attack on individual in future.
