Itanagar, Aug 3: Arunachal Pradesh Forest Corporation Limited (APFCL) chairman Tani Loffa and vice chairman Jabring Venia on Wednesday visited Patanjali Ayurvedic Ltd and Patanjali Food and Herbal Park at Haridwar in Uttarakhand . Both Loffa and Venia discussed in details with the Managing Director and CEO of Patanjali Food and Herbal Park (P) Ltd about investment potential in medicinal plant based industry in Arunachal Pradesh, official sources informed here on Friday. Informing that Arunachal Pradesh is blessed with medicinal plants, both the MD and the CEO opined that any project on this would surely lead to success and provide financial benefit to local people. Special emphasis was given on identification of medicinal plant species, its their and location so that viable project may be prepared. They also assured to provide technical support and marketing guidance. APFCL would take initiative in this regard by taking the help of experts, the sources added.
