Itanagar, Mar 20: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu attended the swearing-in ceremony of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lucknow on Sunday.
Khandu shared the attendance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Party President Amit Shah, an official release informed.
Khandu had left for the national capital on Saturday from where he air-dashed to Lucknow to attend the swearing-in ceremony. The chief minister hoped that the new team in Uttar Pradesh would excel in every given field and live up to the people’s mandate. He also congratulated Trivendra Singh Rawat for being sworn-in as the 9th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand on Saturday.
Khandu hoped that with the BJP Government in place under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand would rise to new levels of development. He pinned confidence that the BJP Government in the state would live up to the people’s aspirations and give people good governance, peace and progress, the release added.
