SILCHAR, July 5: Bold, aspiring and enterprising youths, boys and girls, from Assam are entering newer and challenging areas for their placements with all their qualifications, skill and efficiency abroad by utilizing the available opportunities in this age of globalization and crowd-sourcing. Many such youths have made forays in America too. One such aspiring personality with all the potentiality and propensity is Atreyee Borooah Thekedath, an enterpreneur from Guwahati, had been to America.
Recounting her experiences who travelled to the United States of America on an exchange programme said. “My stint at IBM kick started with a meeting with Ginni Rometty, IBM's first woman CEO in a hundred years, at her office in Armonk, New York. Her warmth and professionalism set the tone of the mentorship experience at IBM.”
Given her areas of interest, IBM drew up a comprehensive agenda for her time with them which covered insights into IBM and sessions with their experts to focus on her areas of interest.
