GUWAHATI, June 23: At least two persons were detained by the Government railway police (GRP) today for assaulting the devotees travelling in the Sampark Kranti Express to attend the Ambubachi Mela in Guwahati. Sunil Wari and Lobo Basumatary, former NDFB members were detained after the duo picked up a fight with the devotees at the Guwahati Railway station. Wari and Basumatary had come to recieve their friend Sanjay Kumar Sharma, a resident of Tezpur,and started the fight after his friend complained that the devottes had harrased him on his way to Guwahati over charging his mobile phone.
