GUWAHATI, July 3: The 35th installation ceremony of the Rotary Club of Gauhati South was held on June 29, at the auditorium of the Down Town Hospital. The new team under the Presidentship of Rotarian Tarun Chandra Bordoloi took charge for the year 2012 – 13, at a somber function here. A powerful presentation, which was made by the Chief Guest Md Asif Iqbal, a visually challenged technocrat, was the real show stopper. It was a captivating commentary of the harsh realities he had to struggle to succeed as a visually challenged person. The event was attended by a large number of Rotarians and their families and friends, stated a release.
