GUWAHATI, Aug 3: A sensation was created in Sonapur area after several organizations gheraoed the Sonapur Block Primary Health Centre following the death of a newborn on Thursday night.  Alleging that the child died due to negligence of Dr Bhaben Das, an FIR has been lodged against the doctor and a Case 252/12 under section 304 (A) filed against him. On August 1, Sabita Das, a resident of Maloibari gave birth to baby, whose condition deteriorated on August 2. According to Sabita, although several calls were made to the doctor, he did not arrive in time to save the baby.
