GUWAHATI, Aug 12: Early Birds, a noted organization in the wild life sector had conducted a awareness cum cattle vaccination camp at Satibhati village, at the fringe of Pobitora wild life sanctuary under Burha Mayang area, today. A total 205 domesticated bovine animal was vaccinated against HS+BQ and all medicines against common alignment was freely distributed to the flood effected cattle population. This was the 53rd free camp in Pobitora out of 157 against all Protected Areas. Early Birds team was headed by its president Moloy Baruah and was joined by other members like  Tridib Sarma, Alkesh Sam kashyap, Lion Naren Hazarika besides two doctors from  AVC, Khanapara. Leaflets on conservation of greater Adjutant Stork and another on Oriental pied hornbill were also distributed amongst all for creating awareness in Mayong area is considered as stronghold for these species, stated a release.
