By our Staff Reporter GUWAHATI, June 28: The State BJP leaders have started for the flood affected districts to take stock of the deteriorating situation and to arrange refief to the flood affected people. BJP organizational secretary for Northeast, P Chandrashekhar today toured the flood affected areas of Lakhimpour and Dhemaji while Lok Sabha MP, Bijoya Chakraborty visited Sivasagar, Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts to meet the flood ravaged families. On the other hand, State vice-president of Mahila Morcha Mridula Borkakoty toured the flood affected areas of Morigaon and demanded Supply minister MLA Dr Nazrul Islam to provide immediate relief to the families of the affected. Meanwhile a team of the BJYM led by Mriganka Barman travelled to the upper Assam districts to assess the damages caused by flood and to provide relief to the poeple. The BJP has urged all not to make politics out of the flood situation but rather work to provide relief to the innocent people facing the wrath of nature.
