GUWAHATI, July 6: Eight-year-old Om Chetry has rocked the dance floor of Dance India Dance (DID) Lil Masters Season-2 with many a splendid performances. His dance moves have impressed celebrities like Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra. Om Chetry’s father Ghan Bahadur Chetry and the Om Chetry Supporting Committee (OCSC) have now appealed to the people of the Northeast to vote for him.

Om Chetry from Diphu in Karbi Anglong is the only contestant in the dance show representing Assam and the Northeast. In a press conference in Guwahati today, Om Chetry Supporting Committee (OCSC) chief convenor Sanjib Kumar Limbu said, “Om Chetry has reached the voting round of the show. He now needs the support of the people of this region to survive and bring laurels to Assam and the Northeast. We appeal to people to vote for him.”
