GUWAHATI, Aug 3: Following the open allegations levelled against one powerful political leader of conspiring against the Chief Minister in relation to the recent BTAD violence that claimed lives of around 50 people and rendered lakhs of people homeless, NSUI State General Secretary Imdad Hussian has started receiving life threats.
Speaking to media persons today, Hussain said that the threats are the direct consequence of the statements he made alleging a powerful political leader of instigating the violence in Kokrajhar to project the Chief Minister as inefficient. In the press meet held recently, Hussain had said that a group under the leadership of that particular Congress leader was trying to project that the Chief Minister was directly or indirectly instigated the ethnic violence in the Bodo belts.
Meanwhile, Hussain had filed an FIR in this regard at the Hatigaon Police Station and a Case 273/12 has been registered in this regard. |
