Pope names new saints including Native American

Vatican, Oct 21: A Native American and six others have been named as saints by Pope Benedict XVI at the start of a new drive to deepen the faith of believers.

HRW criticizes imprisonment of 723 border guards for B'desh mutiny

Dhaka, Oct 21:New York-based Human Rights Watch (HRW) has criticized a Bangladesh court's decision to sentence 723 border guards for their role in a bloody mutiny in 2009.
