| Former hockey player Ranjit Bora passes away |

SIVASAGAR, Aug 16: Ranjit Bora, an ONGCian who played hockey in the national level, died at a private nursing home in Sivasagar on Thursday morning due to prolonged illness. He was 51. Bora joined ONGC in 1981, after playing several years of hockey for the State. Bora is survived by his wife and a son. The last rites of Bora were performed at Phukan Nagar cremation ground... |
