Karbi Anglong to take part in Karate Championship in Delhi

DIPHU, April 26: The 24th Cadet and Junior National Championship is scheduled to be held in New Delhi from May 18-19, 2012. Altogether, 12 participants from Karbi Anglong have consented to participate in the competition. Karbi Anglong has registered in all the four categories to be held at the event.

Runmika Rongpipi, Urmila Ingtipi, Usha Rani Sonowal, Indira Ingtipi, Mirdan Timungpi, Jono Goyari, Jiroi Rongphar, Kartik Saikia, Lipson Kro, Subhram Prakash Saikia, Deepjyoti Boro, Ashim Das are the participants who will take the ring, said Purna Timung, Technical Director of Karbi Anglong Karate-Do Association (KAKA).

While interacting with the participants, Raton Engti,EM of PWD and President of KAKA, showered praises and heartfelt accolades to all of them. Meanwhile, Purna Timung, Technical Director, KAKA and Jiten Das, Secretary of AASKAA will lead the team.
