GUWAHATI, June 28: The Assam Kickboxing Association (AKA) in its fifth annual general meeting has resolved to hold the 1st IAKO National Inter College Kickboxing Championship at Guwahati in November next. The championship will be held under the aegis of Technical Council of IAKO and hosted by AKA. The meet will be held under the rules and regulations of WAKO Federation in eight events.

The decision was taken in a meeting held at the Gandhi Hall, Morigaon on 24th June which was presided over by Adviser Morigaon District Kickboxing Association Pratap Hazarika. Along with fifteen affiliated district of AKA. Earlier, IAKO state representative and General Secretary of AKA Biswajit Kakoti revealed that if under the National Accrediation of assessment Council (NAAC) in its bid to five a boost to the co-curricular activities for the benefit of the students of college.
