GUWAHATI, July 8: Eight players from GTC Chess Foundation claimed top position in the recently concluded Kamrup Metro Chess Championship 2012 held at Srimanta Sankar Academy, Dispur.The prize winners are as follows :
Debanga kalita (1st-U 9), Jenifa Islam (3rd-U 9 girls), Bidisha Sarma (2nd-U13), Mayurakshi Das (1st U11 girls), Unmilita Das (2nd- U 11 girls), Parthana Chakraborty (3rd U-15girls), Mehul Pasari (3rd U-15 ), Rishabh Baruah (3rd U-17).
With this performance all the players have confirmed their berth in the forthcoming “All Assam Chess Championship 2012” to be held later this year. |
