Guwahati, July 17:  The Women Table Tennis team of N F Railway won gold medal in the 60th All India Table Tennis Championship 2012 by beating South Eastern Railway 3 – 0 in the final match which was held on  July 9 at Dharwar (South Western Railway). Last year NFR team won silver medal. This feat has been secured by NFR TT Team after a long gap. The last time TT team won gold in All India TT Championship was in 1995. The team members and officials were felicitated with a Gammochha and a Japi by R S Virdi, General Manager, NFR, who is the patron of NFR Sports Association.
