GUWAHATI, July 21 : The Sunday rapid fire chess competition was held at Brookline Public School, Rajgarh, Guwahati on July 22 where 38 players including 8 international rating players participated. All Assam Chess Association organized the competition in association with Kamrup Metro District Chess Association. The top 10 position holders in the open category are Debashish Dutta, Kaushtav Kashayap Das, Ashish Kumar, Priyambada Dutta, Nitish Das, Bidisha Sarma, Shahmin Abdul, Jamuna Buragohain, Prashuya Gayan, Dhanjit Deka. Winners of the veteran category are Dimbeshwar Tai, Sidhartha Sankar Purkayastha. Bidisha Sarma and Jamuna Buragohain won prize in women category. The next edition of the Sunday rapid fire chess competition will held in the same venue on August 5 from 10.30 am.
