DHUPDHARA, July 3: Eight organizations, including the Goalpara district units of AASU, ARSU, ABSU, ABYF and Sikshak Samanay Samiti, have called a 12-hour Goalpara district bandh on July 4 from 6 am in protest against the killing of the two teachers – Kameswar Rabha and Sarit Rabha – after their alleged abduction by the Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA). Almost 47 days since the two were abducted,  their bodies were recovered from Kasumari Pahar near Krishnai on June 30. The organizations have demanded Rs 10 lakh compensation for the families of each of the deceased.
