NC Hills scam trial begins

GUWAHATI, Sep 1: The trial in the Rs 1000 crore NC Hills scam has started in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Special Court here on Saturday. In Saturday’s trial proceedings, the NIA Special Court recorded the statement of one of the witnesses in the case – Arup Roy. In Saturday’s trial proceedings, key accused in the case like RH Khan, Mohit Hojai, Jewel Garlosa, Niranjan Hojai and others were also present.
