By our Staff Reporter GUWAHATI, Sept 26: “I am a Bangladeshi and I want to return to my country”. This is what Bangladeshi citizen Habibur Rahman had to say when mediapersons hounded him outside the court of the additional sessions judge in Guwahati on Wednesday. Rahman hails from the Balukathana village in Bangladesh’s Mymensingh district. He was arrested in 2002 from Dhubri district and is now lodged in the Central Jail. A case (No. 80 (K)/12) has been registered against him. He appeared before the court of the additional sessions judge on Wednesday. “The legal process here is too time-consuming. My stay in jail has become unbearable. Please send me back to my country,” said Rahman, before the police whisked him away. At the time of his arrest, police had alleged that Rahman had ties with Pakistan’s ISI.
