| Awareness programme on arthritis |

GUWAHATI, Oct 12: An awareness programme on arthritis, organized under the initiative of the Indian Rheumatology Association, Assam chapter was held here today. The programme was held with the objective of raising awareness of the people towards the cause and risk factors involved in rheumatoid arthritis and to highlight some of the issues faced by arthritic patients. The programme also attempted to raise the awareness among the medical community, the patients and the public in general apart from drawing the attention of policy makers towards steps to ease the problem. |
