Gogoi admitted to Asian Heart Institute

GUWAHATI, July 30: Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was today admitted to the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai where his heart surgery will be conducted on August 4. Preliminary examination of his health started this evening.

Gogoi was taken to Mumbai from New Delhi earlier in the day. He was accompanied by his wife Dolly Gogoi, special liaison officer Bipul Gogoi and Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) cardiologist Dr Anjan Bhattacharya.
