New Delhi, June 28: India does not get into “any kind of slanging match” with Pakistani dignitaries, External Affairs Minister SM Krishna said on Thursday, refusing to enter into a debate with Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik over 26/11 suspect Abu Jindal Hamza. He was asked for his reaction to Malik’s rejection of Indian Home Minister P Chidambaram’s assertion of “State support” to terrorists involved in the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, as revealed by Hamza’s confessions to Indian police during interrogation. Malik had on Wednesday claimed that Chidambaram’s remarks were a “propaganda campaign” against Pakistan’s spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence. (IANS) |
