Kangana Ranaut: 'Politics Shouldn't be Viewed as Career'

The 'Queen' famed actress Kangana Ranaut, during an interactive session with media, who is vocal about political and social issues, said that she has no plans to join politics. She thinks politics shouldn't be taken as a career. She also said that if somebody wants her to join politics, then he or she should first renunciate from all pains and pleasures of the material world, become an ascetic or bairagi.

Kangana further added, "If you want to serve people then you have to give up your family and other things in your life, then only, I will be able to serve the country and that should be the intention. "At this point, I am very successful in my career so I don't want to make my career in another field."

Following this, Kangana quoted a statement wherein she will be playing the role of 'The Queen of Jhansi', "If I have to serve for my land then there shouldn't be vested interests of mine because then there will be a conflict of interests. So, if people want to join politics they should but they must take 'bayrarya'. Kangana is currently working on her upcoming movie Manikarnika, a biography of The 'Queen of Jhansi', will come out on Republic Day 2019.

Moreover, Kangana expressed her views during an interaction with media at the "In Conversation with the Mystic 2018" along with Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudevat. She also criticized her contemporaries from Bollywood for not taking a stand on social issues.
