Body of youth recovered

IMPHAL, Jan 7: One unidentified youth was shot dead at Yairipok Leirongthel in Thoubal district last night. Police recovered the bullet ridden body which was taken to the JN Institute of Medical Sciences for post-mortem and identification. There is no claim from any underground organization as yet. One hand grenade, some live ammunition and some empty cartridges were found near the body.

Police have registered a case in this regard.
