Anushka and Virat tied a knot in Italy, which was a private affair, pumped with a lot of awesomeness. This further resulted in the creation of "Virushka" Virushka, these days, are the talk of town with a lot of awws and haws.
Coming down to their fashion quotient, it has been high since that point of time. Anushka wore a Sabyasachi's creation, an embellished pale pink lehenga. This voluminous pale pink lehenga, as is believed, was prepared by 67 workers in 32 hours. The lehenga was hand embroidered in silk floss, which bore motifs of exotic birds and butterflies. It was assembled with precious silver-gold metal threads, beads, and pearls.
She wore it with the handcrafted jewelry from Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Her jhumka's in jadau, pearls and pink spinel, Matha Patti, and layered necklaces were all compliementing each other; hence the entire look of the bride. The bridal jewelry was handcrafted with syndicate uncut diamonds, pale pink spinel and baroque Japanese cultured pearls.
This awesomeness was passed onto their reception in Delhi, at Hotel Taj Palace's Raja Baugh area. She wore a Sabyasachi saree with a heavy brocade weave Bengali-esque bridal look for her reception. She chose heavily kohled eyes, nude lips and dewy make-up, with her hair tied in a sleek mid-parted bun.
The red bindi, the sindoor and the mogras in her hair just made the look more potent.
At Mumbai's reception, St. Regis Hotel in Lower Parel she wore a fairy-like smoky grey lehenga. Some modern touch was added to it with cut organza flowers, textured sequins and beaten silver threads. Her look was accessorized with a necklace and earrings hand crafted with rose cut diamonds, solitaires and briolettes from the Sabyasachi fine jewelry collection.
