After consistently impressing critics everywhere with 'Sonar Baran Pakhi' (The Golden Wing), the biopic that chronicles the life and times of celebrated Goalparia folk singer Pratima Barua Pandey, Bobby Sarma Baruah is currently busy shooting her latest venture 'Mishing', which is based on the widely acclaimed novel of the same name by renowned litterateur Yeshe Dorjee Thongshi. Made in the Sherdukpen language of Arunachal, the film is being produced by Sulakshana Baruah, who has acted in critically acclaimed and award winning films like 'Maj Rati Keteki' and 'Adomya'. The co-producers are Bobby Sarma Baruah and Basanta Baruah.
The film's cinematography is being done by Mumbai-based Sonu Kumar. The sound is being carried out by Rahul Rabha. Like her previous ventures, Ratul Deka will work as the film's editor. The production designing is handled by Phatik Barua, while the costumes are taken care of by Gita Rani Goswami. The film's chief assistant director is Uday Bhaskar Pator. The assistant directors are Sulakshana Baruah and Ratul Deka. Although majority of the artistes are from Arunachal, the popular Assamese actor Rajiv Kro acts in one of the major roles.
