LONDON, July 3: Former Porto manager Andre Villas-Boas flew into London on Monday to sign a three-year deal with Tottenham Hotspurs to become the club’s new manager. Just four months after he was sacked by Chelsea, Villas-Boas has agreed a deal to succeed Harry Redknapp who was dismissed last month. Villas Boas, who will now be tasked with eventually creating a younger team as well as helping Spurs qualify for the Champions League, will not only embark on a radical overhaul of the Spurs squad, but will try to give it more strength in depth and gradually reduce the average age.
