Dhemaji, Sept 23: The incessant rains in the last 15 days have deteriorated the flood situation in Dhemaji district, snapping all road connectivity to the district and endangering lives and property of the people. Overflowing tributaries of Lohit inundate Sadiya sub-division

SIVASAGAR, Sept 23: Incessant rainfall in Lohit Valley has caused heavy floods in entire Lohit district and Sadiya sub-division of Assam. Due to continuous rainfall, most of the tributaries of Lohit such as Kundil and Balijan rivers in Sadiya are in spate and have inundated the low lying areas.
