KOKRAJHAR, June 23: The State Bank of India (SBI) has donated ceiling fans to two schools of Kokrajhar town as part of its social welfare activities at a simple ceremony.
Swrang ME School and No. 804 Rupnath Brahma Vidyapith of Kokrajhar town received five fans each from the State Bank of India, Kokrajhar Branch on Friday. The fans were handed over to Prasanta Kr Brahma and Bishnu Maya Sharma, headmaster and headmistress of Swrang ME School and No. 804 Rupnath Brahma Vidyapith respectively, by SK Das, Chief Manager, SBI, Kokrajhar Branch in presence of TK Narzary, Regional President of SBI Staff Association and Janak Basumatary, Staff Welfare Secretary of SBI, Kokrajhar Branch.
Speaking on the occasion, SK Das highlighted how the State Bank of India, reaches out to the society through its welfare schemes under Community Services Banking. Prasanta Kr Brahma and Bishnu Maya Sharma thanked the bank profusely for their generosity and selecting their schools for the favour. |
