Dibrugarh, Jan 10: As part of the various campaigns undertaken by the Army under its Operation Sadbhavna Drive for terrorist-infested States, the Laipuli Brigade of Dao Division has adopted some villages for development. In this regard, Army Camp Dibrugarh carried out an army-civil interaction at Hathigarh CP School in Shalmari village near Rajgarh and in Nagajan village in Duliajan. In these meetings, the Block Development Officers (BDO) and representatives of the Circle Office of the respective villages were present. The meetings aimed to spread awareness among the people about the various schemes run by the government to take necessary measures to solve their problems. Attending the meetings, the local populace of the villages lauded the work being done by the Army. The Army’s Sadbhavna drive is an informal approach for the officers and soldiers to interact with the masses and show genuine concern and interest in the welfare of the local people.
