Dibrugarh, March 20: The valedictory function of the Entrepreneurship Development Programme, jointly organized by Khadi and Village Industries Commission and United Rural Employment Training Institute (URETI) Dibrugarh, was organized on Monday at RSETI auditorium, UBI here.
The function was attended by the Chief Regional Manager and Deputy Regional Manager, United Bank of India (UBI), Amitabh Sengupta ; Lead District Manager,UBI , Mukul Kachari ; RSETI Director, Amitabh Bhattacharjee and senior journalist , I. Ahmed.
Addressing the participants of the training programme, I.Ahmed stated that the participants were lucky to receive such kind of training to enhance their skills. He urged upon them to plan for better utilization of the loan amount. Ahmed said that the participants should be determined and disciplined in life and must have the zeal for rehabilitation to stand the tests of the competitive world. He further asked the participants to imbibe within themselves the values of honesty and dedication to make good use of the scheme.
During the programme, the participants were given training by resource persons on book keeping, accountancy and marketing. Later, UBI Chief Regional Manager Amitabh Sengupta and Lead Manager Mukul Kachari , in their respective deliberations called upon the participants to establish themselves with full dedication and make full use of the training. They urged upon the trainee youths not to misuse the loan amount or else their efforts would never pay off.
In the coming days, RSETI , Dibrugarh , will be organizing various other training programmes like dairy, piggery, mushroom cultivation , vermi compost , plant nursery management, food processing and other government sponsored programess like Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Stand Up India , with the help of in-house faculty and guest faculty from other organizations. The certificates to the participants were handed over by Chief Regional Manager, Amithav Sengupta, Lead District Manager, Mukul Kachari and RSETI Director Amithav Bhattacharjee. Earlier, LDM Kachari welcomed the guest, participants and others and aptly anchored the programme, He also offered the vote of thanks.
