Japanese Encephalitis kills eight

CHAMATA, Aug 13: At least eight persons died of Japanese encephalitis on Monday in Baksa and Darrang districts while more than 50 persons are still suffering from the disease.

Kamal Chandra Sarma Baruah, a resident of Bhir Gaon, Biswanath Chariali passed away on August 4 after brief illness.
