Anundaram Barooah Award distributed among meritorious students

HAFLONG, Oct 12: The students who secured 1st division in HSLC examination in Dima Hasao district were given laptops under Anundaram Barooah Award scheme at Cultural Institute Hall in Haflong.

One dies in road mishap

Bongaigaon, Oct 12: One man died in a tragic road mishap near Dhaligaon area in Chirang district today.  The victim has been identified as Dipen Brahma (52), a resident of Bandhabguri Maibong area of Chirang district.
