AKRSU stages rail blockade

BONGAIGAON, June 19: All Koch-Rajbanshi Students Union (AKRSU) on Tuesday staged a rail blockade, demanding ST categorization to the Koch-Rajbanshi community and creation of separate Kamatapur State, in Bongaigaon.

Hundreds of protestors under the leadership of Traloikya Ray, secretary of AKRSU blocked the Kokrajhar-Bongaigaon Railway line at Dangtola Railway Station in Chirang district.
