Nagaon, June 23: On one hand  the soaring prices have made the life miserable for the common people and on the other the Government is least bothered about the condition of the people. More than 400 activists of Nagaon District BJP took out a rally and staged Jail Bharo programme in response to the call given by the National Committee protesting against  the price rise  and prevailing corruption under the UPA led central Government as well as in the State Government. The protesters also staged sit-in  in front of the DC’s office and shouted  slogans against the  Government. The protesters were arrested by the police but later on released.The protest programme passed off peacfully without any untoward incident.
