From our Correspondent DHUBRI, July 3: With the improvement of weather conditions, the flood situation is improving in Dhubri district as the water level of river Brahmputra receded by 6 cm in the past two days. Sources from district administration informed that around 8 lakh people have been affected in flood. Total 44 relief camps have set up for providing shelter to the flood-affected people. Official sources said that 14,701.13 qtls of rice, 1502.26 qtls of dal, 432.57 qtls of Salt and 8.30 qtls of Chira have been provided to the flood affected people. |
