NALBARI, July 8: Tapan Barman, one of the accused who attacked Akhil Gogoi, the KMSS leader on July 6 last at village Purni in Nalbari district was sent to Nalbari Jail. According to the report, Tapan Barman who was directly involved in the incident of attacking Akhil Gogoi was arrested by Nalbari Police within 24 hours from the time of attacking Akhil Gogoi. According to the report, Tapan Barman was an active Congress worker of Dharmapur Constituency.
