NALBARI, Aug 17: The overall situation of greater Tamulpur area is normal. The situation is under control. Nilomoni Sen Deka, the Agricultural minister  and Chandan Brahma, the Minister for transport visited Tamulpur and its adjoining areas on Friday and took stock of the situation. The ministers also met the leaders of BPF, leading students activists of AASU, ABSU, ARSU, other politicians and non political organizations and discussed regarding the  incident of police firing at Tamulpur police station premises. Emmanuel Mushahary, the MLA of Tamulpur, Chandi Basumatary, Ganesh Kochari, Deben Boro and other BPF leaders of Tamulpur placed their grievance before the ministers and urged them to take immediate steps to control this situation. On the other hand, the leaders of BPF and other non political organizations including ABSU, Bodo Xahitya Xabha, AASU urged the ministers to find out the reason behind the incident and  take action against the culprits responsible for the firing incident on Thursday.
