Women stage protest march in Nagaon

NAGAON, Jan 7: Women activists of Gangotree Mahila Samiti took out a procession in Nagaon town in protest against atrocities on women, particularly the ghastly act of gang-rape and murder of a 23-year old girl in Delhi recently. The processionists taking placards and banners demanded the sternest punishment to the culprits involved in the heinous crime. Later on, they submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister through the Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon.
