GOALPARA, Feb 2: Dariduri Army camp under the aegis of Red Horns division had organised a weapons display at Ambari College of Goalpara district. The program’s success could be determined by the  attendance of a huge crowd from nearby colleges, schools and villages. The display included 105mm Field Gun, 120mm Mortar, 81mm Mortar, 7.62mm Medium Machine Gun, 40mm Multi–shot grenade launcher and 7.62mm Sniper Rifle.

The aim of the display was to show the prowess of Indian Army amongst its citizens and to create awareness and motivate youths to join the elite organization. Amongst present Syam Rabha of Ambari College said, “He feels proud of the Army and would like to serve in it”. Another girl student was too inspired to be a part of the olive greens.

The program was enjoyed by around 1000 people, all of whom praised Indian Army for their efforts to maintain peace and harmony in the area.
