From our Correspondent Nalbari, August 3: Democratic Yuva Federation of India (DYFI), Nalbari district committee demanded development of railway services in Assam and urged the authority concerned to fill up the vacant posts in Railway Department. The convention organized by DYFI, Nalbari which was held at Nalbari Girls High School also urged the Railway department to make necessary arrangements for setting up double railway lines in Assam. Other demands includes construction of flyover across the railway tracks between Dhamdham Bus stand and Nalbari Harimandir, stoppage of Super Express Railway train in Nalbari Railway Station. The organization also sent a memorandum to the Prime Minister of India.
