Nalbari, Aug 7: Sensation prevails in greater Khukundi area following a group clash between two factions on Monday night. One Jinti Rajbangshi (25) who was severely injured in the clash was immediately shifted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. The  clash between two factions started when one Naren Deka was asked to pay rupees by one Lalit Rajbangshi at Silgosari Chowk at around 7.30 in the evening. The situation turned worse when one Naren Deka refused to pay the money to Lalit Rajbangshi .  Later, Jamser Ali, an rickshaw puller took part in the quarrel on behalf of Naren Deka and he also attacked Lalit Rajbangshi. At night the group of Lalit Rajbangshi searched the culprits who attacked Rajbangshi and there was a clash between two communities.  One Jintu Rajbangshi was severely beaten up in the clash. A case was registered in Nalbari Police station while four persons involved in the incident were arrested. A peace committee was also formed by local administration immediately so that no untoward incidents take place further.
