Despite raids, molasses sold openly in Margherita

From a Correspondent
MARGHERITA, Sept 16: After so many raids conducted by Margherita Excise department, molasses are rampantly found in Margherita region and illicit liquor continues to be sold in many places under Margherita subdivision.
Sources said that at Vineee Mill bazaar, Ketetong, Baragolai, Ledo and Jagun which fall under Margherita region, molasses are openly sold which is a clear indication that Margherita administration and Margherita Excise department have failed to stop the molasses business. Molasses are mainly used for animal food but many traders of Margherita region supply to those who make illicit liquor.
Conscious people of Margherita have demanded Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal to take strict action against those traders who supply molasses to illicit liquor traders.
