KAAC CEM lays foundation stone for development projects under DTC

HAMREN, Nov 13: KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang ceremonially laid the foundation stone for different development projects in and around Diphu town. In presence of MLA of Diphu, Sum Ronghang, the CEM first laid the foundation stone at Rongtheang Diphu under DTC ward No. 7 for the construction of 85,000 litres capacity water reservoir which will cover the pipeline under DTC ward no.7 of Rongtheang areas. The CEM was accompanied by EM Amorsing Tisso i/c Water Resource and EM Prodeep Rongpi i/c PHE along with colleague EMs of KAAC and dignitaries.
CEM Tuliram Ronghang said that Rongtheang would soon have a mega kilowatt electric transformer under Rongtheang A and B areas. Afterwards, he also laid the foundation stone at District Fishery, Diphu for the beautification of the lake at the District Fishery campus. He also laid the foundation stone for erecting 667 solar streetlights in all wards under DTC for Rs 4 crore and the foundation stone of the Arboretum-cum-Craft Centre at Matipung for Rs 8 crore. Ronghang said that the beautification work of the district fishery would start soon with an estimated amount of Rs 9 crore and assured that ongoing construction work for the beautification of Diphu town, erecting of streetlights and road dividers would be completed by March.
