NFR Women's Welfare Organisation celebrates Children's Day

GUWAHATI, Nov 14: Northeast Frontier Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (NFRWWO) celebrated Children’s Day with children of the “SNEHA” and“Jagriti Shiksha Niketon ” schools. Both the schools are run by the Northeast Frontier Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (NFRWWO) at Maligaon & Pandu respectively. “SNEHA” is for the benefit of specially abled children while “Jagriti Shiksha Niketon ” is for children from below poverty level families. At present there are 13 children in “SNEHA” school who are being provided education and other appropriate training at the school depending on their requirement and in “Jagriti Shiksha Niketon ” where 140 student have been accommodated for education from below poverty level families. Today children sang the National Anthem and recited rhymes at the school  to display their ability.
Annual Sports day for the student of “Jagriti Shiksha Niketon school” was also organised where prizes were distributed among the winners of the events on Tuesday. President of NFRWWO Sunita Singh along with other members were present. This was stated in a press release.
